Of course Kartf could not go to a new city without SOMETHING going wrong. Almost as soon as he'd entered Nimbasa City, he'd spotted an old man being harrassed by none other than Team Plasma. After chasing the grunts away with Ruby's help, the old man, who happened to own the Daycare Marty was staying in, thanked Kartf and gave him a bike before leaving to go home.

Kartf stared at the bike. How the hell was he supposed to lug this everywhere?

Then he noticed some instructions and read them. Apparently, the bike was collapsible.

Now, he wasn't even able to lay Patman to rest yet, as as soon as he'd won that gym battle, a bunch of Team Plasma members had taken it upon themselves to steal a Dragonite skull from the museum, going on about how they would use it to revive a legendary dragon Pokemon.

'Legendary?' Kartf thought to himself. 'Hardly...' Dragonite were quite rare, true. But they were not so rare as to be "legendary".

A few days after the events in the Dreamyard, Kartf decided he was ready to keep going. Other than Marty, who refused to take training seriously, Kartf's team was ready. Kartf normally liked to sleep in, but training waited for no one. He woke bright and early to train his Pokemon, particularly Scratchy, who was well behind Samgli and Patman.

The training went very well, for the most part, and Scratchy the Purrloin soon began to catch up to the other two in terms of level.

The Purrloin even was able to handle a few wild battles on its own, which made Kartf confident. "You'll be so powerful, Scratchy," he assured. The feline merely rolled its eyes at Kartf, clearly unimpressed with its trainer.

Kartf decided one day to go on a Pokemon journey.

Along with his two derpy "friends", Cheren and Bianca.

When the Pokemon arrived, he hesitated. Which one should he pick?

His mind made up, Kartf reached into the gift box and pulled out the Poke ball containing the grass type, Snivy.

Bianca, like the dumbass she was, challenged Kartf to a battle IN HIS ROOM.

Yeah it works fine I like it!
And it was shown to work as a fighting style in kingdom hearts 2.
